Hi All,
On Sunday, February 20th at 7:30, William Pint & Felicia Dale will be
returning to my house for the third time. They are absolutely *amazing*
performers of traditional and traditionally-based music - but with a
contemporary edge that makes them truly unique! Although both Pint & Dale
are Americans, their music is deeply rooted in the British and Celtic
traditions.
Pint and Dale do wonderful harmonies. And many of their songs beckon
audiences to sing along. And they are both *superb* instrumentalists -
Felicia Dale on hurdy gurdy, Irish pennywhistles, and percussion, William
Pint on guitar and mandola. What more need I say?
Their concert last year sold out, so early reservations are highly recommended!
For reservations, prepayment (to select seats ahead of time), & directions,

WILLIAM PINT
&
FELICIA DALE
will be performing at a House Concert
in BERKELEY
on Sunday, February 20th
at 7:30PM
Returning after last year's sold-out concert (with 1, and possibly 2, new
CDs!) , this phenomenal, internationally known, Seattle-based duo will
again be performing at a house concert in Berkeley!
Drawing on several cultures, Pint & Dale perform traditional and modern
music and songs reflecting the immense vitality of those who live and work
on the sea. With vocals, guitar, mandola, hurdy-gurdy, Irish
pennywhistles, and percussion, they bring an energetic and contemporary
spirit to their material. Their music fits into the world of modern folk,
rock and popular song, but it's rich with the myth, narrative, rhythm,
rhyme and lyric associated with the days of the tall ships. Pint & Dale
gather together material from many locales and cultures including the West
Indies, Wales and Brittany.
Pint & Dale have won an ardent following across the United States, Canada,
Great Britain and Europe with their recordings and appearances at festivals
and concerts. All 7 of their CDs have received rave reviews on both sides
of the Atlantic. With all of the touring that they have been doing in
Europe, it's a real treat to get them back here for one of their few
California appearances.
