[FM] "Early Saturday Show" Feature

    The CBS TV series, "Early Saturday Show" (runs in DC 8-10 am, I suspect 
local times may vary) has tentatively scheduled a feature on house concerts 
on Feb. 12. I suspect they probably picked up the idea from the NY Times 
front page feature about a month ago. 

    I had some luck taking the Times story to a local paper and saying, "You 
ought to do something on what's going on like this around here." 

    In this case (if you do house concerts) you might alert the local CBS 
affiliate and tell them what you're doing -- in case they want to do a 
companion feature, or you might want to tape the show and later take it to 
the other stations to point out a good idea for a local feature. When the big 
guys do a feature it tends to give legitimacy to local variations.
