Anne Saunders did not have the URL for the bluegrass festival formerly known
as Winterhawk, but here it is:
http://www.greyfoxbluegrass.com/ <http://www.greyfoxbluegrass.com/>
Word on the street is that nothing has changed but the name. So if you have
always gone to the Rothvoss Farm for bluegrass music every July, then you
will probably want to continue. In reading Anne's lengthy description of
the new festival, I think you can see that it will be very different and
less "bluegrass-oriented" than Grey Fox. Like she said, the new festival is
also a good thing and heck, it'll bring more variety to the region than it
has ever known previously.
Good luck to all, and let your friends know the differences here. It's
really a shame that the name controversy had to come into the picture.

I must also point out a second new event which has risen out of the ashes of
the fomer Winterhawk BG Fest, the Grey Fox Bluegrass festival. Sort of like
having a successful public stock split 2 for one is the deal here and we
certainly hope both will go on to establish new niches from the one vacated.
Grey Fox will be held on the Rothvoss Farm, site of the former Winterhawk BG
Fest, it's one week before FRFF on July 13-16. I'm sorry, I don't know the
URL but it should be easy to search.
