This is not meant in any way as a reflection on Ellis Paul, whom I regard
as one of the greatest singer/songwriters ever. (Nor is it a criticism of
Ralph Jaccodine, who is only passing along information.)
BUT somebody needs to talk to the Farrelys:

1. Schizophrenia is NOT in any way the same disorder as multiple
personality disorder (now officially called Dissociative Identity Disorder,
by the way). Schizophrenics suffer from a variety of mental confusions;
they do not have "separate personalities".
2. Schizophrenia is (often) treatable with medication. MPD/DID is
not. There is no known medication that would suppress personalities.
3. (perhaps less important, but) It is highly improbable that any
schizophrenic would be hired as a state trooper, or that any state trooper
who developed signs of schizophrenia would be permitted to continue in the
job.
