The Kennedys were big winners at the 14th annual Washington Area Music
Association Awards last night at the Washington Hilton. Maura Kennedy won
the award for best Pop/Rock Female Vocalist; The Kennedys won for best
Pop/Rock Duo or Group; Pete Kennedy won for best Folk Instrumentalist & best
Pop/Rock Instrumentalist; "Angel Fire" won for best Pop/Rock Recording; and
Pete & Maura won the Best Songwriter award! Congratulations to the Kennedys.
