Kelly Joe Phelps appeared at The Seabury Center (200 seats) of the
Westport Arts Center in Westport, CT on Saturday, February 5th. Opening
was Pam Bertoli.

For those of you who have not yet seen Kelly, please make an effort if
he happens to be in your area. He is a treat. A smoky, acoustic blues
virtuoso with an quirky, intriguing stage persona that captivated the
entire room for two 45 minute sets, several standing ovations and two
encores.

Especially pleasing was his version of "Goodnight Irene," and "River Rat
Jimmy" both from his his latest Ryko recording "shine eyed mister zen".
