Well, here I sit, on a rainy day in California... wishing that I was in
Cleveland, OH for the Folk Alliance conference, which I just couldn't
financially juggle this year, and sending love to many people there that I
will miss seeing!  I will set my sights on Vancouver 2001!  

 I am glad to see that this great list (thank you, Alan) is going to
continue forward under Tom's management.  Thank you, Tom!  It's a lot of
work, I know, but important.

Here's my new address and phone #, for anyone who is wondering why my old
phone number has been disconnected.

I'm now resettled in what feels, comparatively, like a huge city --
Sacramento, CA -- after 15 years of living near Placerville, CA, out in the
country.  It's quite a transition I've gone through in the past 4 months.
My house sold while I was touring in New England, and it took a while to
find a new place to call home.   The last few months have been very hectic
and challenging -- i.e. hard -- but I'm finally getting resettled...

 I'm happy where I am and excited about many opportunities that living
closer in will allow me to explore!  I already have 3 'folkies' (Eleni
Kelakos, Andrew McKnight, and Anthony McCann)  heading through this area
that I'm happy to offer safe haven to on the road, and plan to make room
somehow (680 sq. feet feels a lot smaller than the 2200-square-foot house I
said goodbye to) and enjoy the company traveling through!

Where I live now, I'm only an hour and a half from San Francisco and only an
hour from the foothills, so give me a call if you're passing through and can
take some time for visiting!
