[FM] slide guitarist

I heard a slide player on some
live folk radio show about two
weeks ago, and his last name
reminded me of Italian food,
I'm sorry for my poor memory
and crassness in recalling the
artist.  But the playing
reminded me of Ry Cooder on
Paris, Texas; very
sound-aura-ish, intensely
evocative and way cool.  I
know if I could find his cd,
somehow my life would have
that much more meaning.  I can
get personal repies about
this.  Thanks.
