Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer are thrilled to announce the release of 
TANGLEWOOD TREE, our new cd on Signature Sounds (street date: March 
14).

With stylistic nods to Townes Van Zandt, Hank Snow, Bo Diddley and 
Bob Dylan, and lyrical references to everything fromthe Wizard of Oz 
to Occam's Razor, TANGLEWOOD TREE is a countrified collection of Dave 
Carter's meditations on the roots and branches of the True Vine, a 
series of unblinking, cinematic looks at the complex tangle of life's 
illusions. Produced by the duo, the album features top-flight playing 
from Roger Williams (Salamander Crossing), Bob Dick (Front Range), 
Richard Gates (Bill Morrissey, Patty Larkin, etc.) and Lorne Entress 
(Mark Erelli).
