FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

earBuzz.com,

Announces Anniversary BUZZ Show, new offices

BENICIA, Calif. (June 12, 2000 )- earBuzz.com, 'turning the music world on
its ear', will hold its first earBuzz.com BUZZ SHOW on July 3rd, 2000, to
commemorate one year of providing independent artists a free internet
distribution source for their CDs and merchandise. earBuzz.com turns one
year old on July 4th, 2000, Independence Day for Independent Musicians. The
event will be held in Benicia, California, home of earBuzz.com, at the
historic Clocktower from 7pm until midnite. The entertainment program will
include sets by earBuzz.com artists, headlined by earBuzz.com artist and UK
sensation, Steadman, named Independent Artist of the Year by several
independent music sources including earBuzz.com. Tickets are available at
earBuzz.com for $11 as well as various merchants in Benicia such as Bay City
Sounds. The evening will be one of musical expression and performance as
several earBuzz.com artists from around the world take the stage - promising
a wide variety of compelling music in different genres to the audience.
earBuzz.com artist CDs will be available for sale at the event.

earBuzz.com, the fast, simple, and FREE ecommerce music site for independent
music artists, launched July 4th, 1999, Independence Day, as the FREE
ecommerce internet site for independent artists to sell their CDs.
earBuzz.com is the only internet distribution site to offer FREE services as
well as 100% of the profits from CD purchases to the artists. The policies
of earBuzz.com are designed to help empower artists to gain control of their
financial future as Internet distribution of CDs continues to grow.
earBuzz.com will continue to have FREE artists set up, FREE web pages, FREE
mp3 encoding, FREE inventory services, and now FREE e-commerce.

earBuzz.com also announces the leasing of a1400 square foot technology suite
in Benicia as its new company offices to handle the immediate growth and
needs of the company. The artistic community response has been tremendous
as over 1,000 artists have submitted their information on the earBuzz.com
site for posting. The earBuzz.com offices will include a retail portion
that will allow shoppers to listen to earBuzz.com artist CDs at computer
listening stations and traditional CD carousels. earBuzz.com offices will
be managed by co-founder and Vice-President, Nancy Kimenker. Nancy's
experience in music retail includes over 12 years as one of the top managers
at Wherehouse Record Stores as well as 3years as ticket center services
manager at BASS Tickets, the dominant entertainment ticketing agent in
northern California. Says Nancy, "we've reached a level where we need more
space - our inventory system, site processing will benefit - plus we're very
excited to evolve a retail space where the public can find independent music
in a relaxing easy setting."

earBuzz.com also announces the ‘Half Buzzed Daily’ feature has grown to
include atleast two artists each day at 50% off the set retail price by the
artist. "We'll be at over 1,000 artists on the site very soon. That means
that artists might get up on the Half Buzzed Daily once every three years.
So, we're expanding the popular 50% feature to the benefit of our customers
and our artists as well as increasing the Buzz of the Week artists. We feel
that more choice will keep people coming back to the site to discover new
music, and that artists will have a chance to get their music to even more
listeners." Co-founder, Don Kimenker continues, "we're adding many new
features in the coming weeks to benefit artists, including providing info to
artists as long as it's approved by the purchaser of the CD, a rating system,
and more promotional opportunities as we expand our services to include
shows, merchandise, and very soon - streaming radio."

The artist response has been overwhelming to the point of causing problems and
delays in the posting of artist sites. We are experiencing tremendous
growth in our artist roster, so much that we are not keeping up with the
processing - however, we will be caught up within the next couple of weeks as
we're adding more personnel to handle the site processing. The 100% profit
policy has brought in an average of 5 new band/artist submissions every day -
each artist/band takes nearly two hours to post. We are really concerned
with the quality of the mp3 clips and songs, as well as the scans of the
artist covers and photos so we do those ourselves - but the most time
consuming and most enjoyable part of the process is the review - and we
listen to a portion if not all of every song on the CD to get the best
picture of what the artist is trying to communicate."

National advertising continues for earBuzz.com. MacAddict Magazine has
featured earBuzz.com on the Macaddict.com website as well as advertising
running in the monthly Macintosh enthusiast magazine. The July MacAddict CD
featured mp3 clips from earBuzz.com as well. earBuzz.com was recently
featured in Downbeat Jazz Magazine as one of the top sites for independent
jazz artists and was given similar honors by GIG Magazine and Music
Connection.

earBuzz.com utilizes proprietary search engines, mp3 songs and clips, artist
dedicated URL pages, secured server credit card processing, album artwork and
artist photo scanned images, artist web site links – all FREE to artists – to
provide the public and the artists an elegantly simple distribution resource.

earBuzz.com artists are able to utilize earBuzz.com’s features by promoting
their own dedicated URL to their fan base for purchasing at

www.earBuzz.com / "artist-band name" i.e., www.earBuzz.com/nelson

As the fan base accesses the URL they will be taken to the artist’s earBuzz
page which will include; their own provided biography and comment
information, a scanned image of both their CD cover and the artists picture,
5 MP3 formatted clips of music from their CD, immediate purchase option, link
to the artist’s own website, as well as regional information and artist’s
genre.

earBuzz.com is FREE to artists with no set-up fees. The sign up process is
simple and fast. Any artist with a CD can join. Artists send in 5-20 CDs of
each CD title submitted, pick the songs they want converted to MP3 format, as
well as submitting optional artist merchandise such as shirts/hats/buttons.
Once received, earBuzz.com staff process all materials and posts the
dedicated artist’s earBuzz.com website.

earBuzz.com is a privately held company run by artists and lovers of new
music.
