Not only frustrating, it's stupid. If, perchance, the only reason the
computer is on at the moment is to listen to the radio, maybe nobody is
looking at the screen to see that the question has been asked. Is anyone
at WUMB or Bostondial tuned in and listening? Real action is needed here,
or WUMB might as well be dead. Other stations seem to be getting along
without the added "frills".

[Alan sez: I decided to try WUMB out and it wouldn't work for me at all. I had to sign up and give them a bunch of personal info that I wasn't crazy about handing out, then it told me that my username/password combination wasn't valid. (after it had just approved them.)
There's no doubt that this internet radio stuff is totally in its infancy. I love having access to the music though. Despite having to jump thru a few hoops to get to it, it's worth it to me not to listen to the same old, tired, POP hits that the local stations here try to jam down my throat. If I have to hear the morning DJ on Y94 spin Heart's "All I Wanna Do is Make Love To You" one more time, I think I'm going to puke.]
