[FM] Re: Folkus House Concert/Terri Allard

After talk of discontinuing their house concert series, the folks (Jodi
& Paula) at Folkus productions put on another show.  Its been about 6
month hiatus but it finally happened.  The performer--Terri Allard.  If
you have not already seen Terri, I'd suggest you check her out.  She has
got the most beautiful, powerful voice and her songs are beatifully
written.  She sorta sounds a little on the idea of Karen Savoca
(voice-wise, especially when talking) but with a little more country
sound.   I was very glad to see her again--it was my fourth show (seeing
her last year at a Folkus show, at the Bridgeton Folk Fest, Philly Folk
Fest and then at Folkus again.  If you are in the music bus, host house
shows, book folk shows or clubs--Terri Allard is a woman you want to
get!!!

Thanks again Jodi and Paula for hosting another house show.  Looking
forward to the next one.  I really enjoyed the show and the food and the
company last Sunday night!
