In response to query about significance of George Harrison's music: Just
listen to his complete body of work. Look at the songs he penned on all
the range of Beatle's albums, listen to his musical contribution to the
others, listen to All Things Must Pass and Living in the Material World.
And yes, even listen to the Traveling Wilbury's. George was one of the
great songwriters of our times and one of the most tasteful and creative
guitarist's of our time.
And as far Arlo's Alice's Restaurant: See him perform live, even once,
now, and you'll know why the song and the performance is so special and
enduring.
