[FM] WUMB "Folk Radio 91.9fm" Top 10 2000

Every year Folk Radio (WUMB/Boston) sends ballots to our "Circle of Friends" 
and staff members asking them for their ten best CD choices of the year. The 
first two weeks of the new year we spend playing our Top Ten Count Down.

Each day we play one of the top ten CDs (a different song every hour on the 
1/2 hour) starting with #10 and so on. That takes two weeks. We'll reveal the 
#1 album on January 12. On the following Monday, we salute "New Artist of the 
Year" debut CD. (Past new artists include Iris Dement, Patty Griffin/Martin 
Sexton [a tie!], Kate Campbell, etc.)

We update the list daily after the CDs are announced on our website, 
www.wumb.org. 

So far this time around we have enjoyed John Hiatt, Vance Gilbert, Dar 
Williams, Eva Cassidy and others. Check out the website for the list, or to 
listen!

It's a real treat that we at the station have enjoyed for years.
