Dear F_M List,

Today's (Wednesday) NY Times had a review of the Julie and Buddy Miller
concert at the Bottom Line this week, which was full of praise, but the real
kudos from writer Jon Pareles went to opening act Chris Smither.  It's nice
to see Chris' work appreciated by the NY Times writer - he really
understands the depth of Chris's singing, songwriting, and choice of
material.  And it's nice to see a performer getting better and better, and
being recognized for it.
