Are you sure it was Tanya Tucker?  I know Suzy Boggus (Chet Atkins's protege) 
had a huge hit with the song.  She is as far removed from Tanya Tucker as is, 
say, Chet Atkins is from Glen Campbell.

Also, FYI, on your list of songs, "Navajo Rug" was co-written by Tom Russell.
