Amy Farris

Amy Farris was born and raised in Austin, Texas, where she makes her
living as a musician. She plays violin, viola, mandolin, sings, and
writes string arrangements. 

Amy has performed and/or recorded with Kelly Willis, Alejandro
Escovedo, Sara Hickman, Tish Hinojosa, Bruce Robison, Charlie Robison,
Monte Warden, Ray Wylie Hubbard, The Hot Club of Cowtown, and the
legendary Ray Price.

Amy has performed at Lilith Fair and on David Letterman, Conan O'Brien,
Austin City Limits, Sessions on West 54th, CBS Saturday Morning,
Mountain Stage, and the Grand Old Opry. She has appeared on CMT in
videos with Sherrie Austin and Monte Warden.

Her upcoming CD will be produced by roots rock legend Dave Alvin of the
Blasters

A confirmed insomniac, Amy often putters away her nights by drawing,
creating the objets d' insomnia* .  She will be displaying her great
drawings at our show!
