The presenters of this wonderful West Virginia House Concert Series
aren't yet list members & asked me to post this...
(yea, it's a bit weird posting about my own show, but it would be great
to see some folks at the new location... so...well...here goes...
also note, it's a new location, just minutes from the old place.

Dinner provided by La Mezzaluna Cafe: Lasagna Alforno, Rigatoni alla
Vodka (Rigatoni in
a cream vodka sauce with prosciutto ham), Garden Salad, Garlic Bread,
and a surprise Dessert.
$18/person for Dinner and Concert   $10/person for Concert Only

     Annie Wenz - Folk Diva and Multi-Instrumentalist

Annie Wenzs music is described as powerful, spiritual, ethereal and
bold - a patchwork of amazing stories
and textures just like her life. Her songs take you along on her
journeys backpacking around the world
through Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Bali, Australia, New Zealand and India;

bungee jumping 150 feet off a bridge with her guitar on her back;
climbing an erupting volcano in Costa Rica;
working as a rafting guide, a psychiatric nurse and an obstetrics nurse
in Harlan County KY;
and running a 100 mile relay with Penobscott Indian women to Mt.
Katahdin.
She blends contemporary sounds with roots/traditional, multicultural
influences and funky rhythms,
and her music has been compared to Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon and Richard
Thompson.
Wenz accompanies herself on guitar, Native American flutes, piano, and
percussion instruments from all over the world.
She is celebrating the release of her newest CD "Poets Dance" produced
by Tom Prasada Rao.
