lost.  This is one great week for music in the Triangle, and we hope
you'll consider one of these other great shows if you have a free
evening.

On Thursday at 8:00 PM, for a mere $8.00 you can go to the Six String
Cafe and Music Hall in Cary and hear our good friends Groovelily, a
rockin' trio consisting of lead singer Valerie Vigoda on an electric
fiddle quite unlike any you've ever seen, the oh-so-talented Brendan
Milburn on keyboards and lending his voice to the vocals, and the always
awesome Gene Lewin on drums of various kinds.  Three times more energy
than anyone ought to be allowed to have loose in a room.

Friday night brings our good friend Greg Greenway to the Little Lake
Hill House Concert series on Dixie Trail at 8:00 PM.  Bett tells us that
she has a few seats still available ($10 donation to the artist) for
this one too, and you can be sure that the Strohmeyers have had
reservations since this show was first announced.  You can go to a movie

And last, but by NO means least, on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 PM, Kim and
Bucky Buchanan are opening their home for a real treat.  The Great House
Concert Tour, an idea first proposed by yours truly to a group of fellow
house concert presenters, will conclude the first half of its itinerary
in beautiful Hurdle Mills, NC, just an hour or so up the road.  We have
it on good authority that this show is knocking 'em dead in its early
tour stops, and since this the last stop before the "All-Star break" at
Folk Alliance in Nashville next week, we're sure to be in for a special
treat as the three artists - Tom Prasada-Rao, Eric Schwartz, and Freebo
- let 'er rip for one last time.  All this for only $15US - a bargain at
