Promotional copies are available for "Racing Hearts" - Al Petteway & Amy
White's first entirely collaborative effort and the latest from their
Fairewood Studios label. This recording will be included in the Borders
Books & Music Gondola Listening Station program from May 16 - July 11, 2000.

"Racing Hearts" features primarily original (many trad-inspired)
instrumentals and traditional Celtic material. Instrumentation includes
Guitar, Mandolin, Irish Bouzouki, Piano, Bodhran, Percussion, Violin and a
few Vocals. There are three vocals tracks, all listed clearly on the tray.
These include two traditional Celtic ballads (1) "Polly Vaughn" - timeless
and topical with respect to the rising gun violence among today's youth, (2)
"She Moved through the Faire" and (3) an original, wordless Lullaby. The
music on "Racing Hearts" fits easily into Contemporary Folk, Acoustic
Instrumental/New Age, Celtic & World programming.

There is an article about Al & Amy in the recent Feb/Mar issue of Dirty
Linen should you care to read more about the artists.

With thanks for your interest and consideration,

And special thanks to all of you who have given this CD many spins already,
