Time of Wonder

        Time of Wonder is Stefan des Lauriers' latest CD of Songs for the
Young and the Young at Heart. "What a musical treat!" writes Fred Koch of
BestChildrensMusic.com, "Stefan's creative, child-centered songs are a
perfect jumping off point for Ken Whiteley and Sharkey McEwens' tasty
musicianship and fine production work."

        Although the whimsical cover may suggest a children's album, young
and old will be inspired by the variety of innovative themes: Sunflowers,
an avant garde peace song reminiscent of the Byrds; Great Engineer, a train
song evocative of a locomotive; and Vision of Victory with Sharkey's
acoustic guitar conjuring up a mountain climber, a little bit over the
hill, as he returns to the scene of the climb.

        One of the songs, Wind-up Monkey Dance,  was finalist in the best
song for older kids in the Children's Web Awards at www.childrensmusic.org.

        "Like the best of children's literature, the songs are entertaining
at a child's level, and yet there is a lot going on that will only be
discovered by a more mature mind," writes David Kleiner. "You won't catch
it all the first or third time, which is one of the hallmarks of a CD worth
owning."
