Title: One Man's Ceiling is Just Another One's Door
FBI Records
This is a collection of what I figure would be 'contemporary folk',
although it sounds nothing like Tom Waits. There are some protest
songs, some love gone wrong songs and a some that I've heard described
as acid folk. Aside from the last track - which includes my cat
'bloater' doing back-up vocals - the production/effects were kept to a
minimum, although I caught the engineer trying to sneak in some '70's
era Glen Campbell vocal effects.
For those who want to preview the material, lyrics and real audio
versions of the songs are available at

with a handy (i hope) link to a 'promotional copy' request form.
>From the only review of One Man's Ceiling so far...amp3.com indie cd
reviews:
'...Sue Jeffers is an accomplished guitarist, playing a flat-picked
style that sounds like it was played upon the front porch on a sunny
Autumn day. The songs on One Man's Ceiling... are gritty tales about
friends, social issues, and the losses and rewards in life. The acoustic
guitars are double-tracked and would make great instrumental tunes all
by themselves. But if you leave out Jeffers' voice, then you are leaving
out what makes her stand out from the folk crowd .... (blah blah
blah).... '
Thanks for your time,
