Claudia Russell is a 1999 Kerrville New Folk finalist and a veteran
member of the Los Angeles independent music scene. "Song Food," her
debut CD on Radio Rhythm Records, is now available online at amazon.com
and http://www.claudiarussell.com.

Claudia weaves folk, blues, country and traditional music into an
eclectic mix that is memorable and moving. The Milwaukee Journal
(12/11/99) wrote, "Claudia Russell has a voice that was born to sing

Just two weeks after it's release, "Song Food" has already received play
from a number of Folk DJ reporters: Dan Hazelett, Geoffrey Huys, Mike
Regenstreif and Doug Young, Roz and Howard Larman have played the CD
several weeks in a row.  The CD is also in heavy rotation on WUMB in
Boston. WUMB's music director, Marilyn Rea Beyer says "Whew! What a trip
that Claudia Russell CD is! We added it immediately in our heaviest
rotation. Put us on the list of early supporters."
